Naomi Teeter is a health and wellness coach from Spokane, Washington who has lost 150lbs and been able to keep the weight off for the last 7 years.

Her story is one of overcoming the odds and one things that Naomi said that stuck out to me was this “I can only think of 2-3 distant cousins that were average sized if that gives you any indication of the level of my family being overweight, obese, morbidly obese. It was pretty much just normal to me.

Naomi has redefined her version of normal and here is our conversation.

Anthony Salas from North Carolina who has lost 112lbs over the last 4 years!

One of my favorite quotes that Anthony said from our interview was this: “I started this journey just to feel better. I didn’t say I am going to go out and run a half marathon. I wanted to feel better and be there for my kids when they get older"

Tim Kaufman is from Buffalo, NY and has lost over 200lbs, has overcome disease, and gotten off all of the medications he was previously on. At one point Tim was in so much pain that he had to wear a fentanyl pain patch witch is actually stronger than morphine just to get through the day.

One of my favorite quotes that Tim said from our interview was this: “We’re not supposed to be sick. We’re not supposed to be fat. We are supposed to have good lives. No one sets out to be immobile and overweight and unhealthy. I don’t think that’s anyone’s goal"
